Got my truck repainted because of the recall, but now the Toyota body shop is giving me trouble over the flares.
Long story short, they look terrible, and the shop isn’t helping.
Do the flares have any kind of texture before they’re painted? What about the bumper? The shop says they can’t wet sand them because it would remove the texture and create flat spots. Sounds like nonsense to me, but they won’t budge.
Anyone know the truth about this?
