I live in California. For the past 2 months, I’ve called most of these dealerships, and none carry the Prerunner. I’ve searched inventory on Toyota’s website, and the only one I could find was in Victorville.
Did they stop production on the Prerunner?
I did order it at Longo Toyota, but they said it could take 3-6 months. The sales rep mentioned that even that’s not guaranteed. I placed a $500 reservation
After a lengthy absence, the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD PreRunner is returning to the lineup! For those who are not familiar with Tacoma legend, Tacomas with two wheels and a raised suspension that lacked four-wheel drive but nevertheless had a tough appearance were formerly known as PreRunners. This trend is continued by the new Tacoma TRD PreRunner, which combines a rugged look with two-wheel drive, an extended-cab body, and a locking rear differential—pretty much everything you could want in a truck, and probably for less money than the Tacoma’s four-wheel-drive off-roaders.
