2025 Tacoma redline lower than others, why? And where are my psi numbers?

Been watching videos on Tacomas and noticed something weird. A lot of people have a redline around 6.2k rpm, but mine only goes up to 5.4k. Is this because of the Iforce vs Iforce Max or something to do with break-in?

Also, my boost gauge doesn’t show any numbers, and it’s driving me crazy!

I’ve seen this too. Some trims have a different redline, but I’m not sure why.

Yeah, it’s weird. If it’s trim-related, Toyota should make that clear.

It’s because of the Iforce vs Iforce Max. The Max has a different tune.

That makes sense. I have the standard Iforce, so that’s probably why.

The boost gauge thing is common. Some trucks just don’t display numbers.

That’s so annoying. Why even have it if it doesn’t show numbers?

Check your manual. Toyota sometimes limits redline until break-in is complete.

I’ll check. I hope that’s the case because 5.4k feels too low.

Mine redlines at 6.2k, but I have the Iforce Max. Could be the difference.

Yep, looks like it’s a trim thing. Thanks for confirming!
