5 year old original battery

My 2019 Tacoma still has the original battery, which seems to be working fine. I usually expect a battery to last about 4-5 years, so I’m wondering if it’s reasonable to expect it to last 6 or more years, especially since Toyota likely uses a high-quality battery. Should I get it checked out or consider replacing it before the colder weather sets in later this year?

My buddy’s 2018 Tacoma had the same original battery until it hit 5 years, and it started acting up right when winter kicked in. If it’s been solid so far, maybe just have it checked before it gets colder.

Your true capability is therefore between 78 and 79%.
After six years, my battery life is still 78.1%, but it lasts longer than a day.
P.S. That’s XSM.
