I am getting a new Tacoma soon with the Off-Road package and 6’ bed. Can’t decide between the access cab or the double cab. It’s just me for now, leaving the military soon, so storage for fishing and camping gear is key. Leaning towards the double cab for space, but worried about its length off-road. Are the rear seats foldable for extra storage? What’s your take?

I got to go with the access cab. The suicide rear door is fantastic; it creates a great opportunity. Although I don’t yet have a cap, I was able to store a sizable bass amp, a guitar amp, a guitar, and pedal boards in the passenger seat and back during a downpour.
