Hey all, I’m about to get a newer Tacoma (probably between 2021 and 2023) and I plan to add a camper top and a roof rack. I’m thinking of going with a high rise cap since I might add a Decked drawer system in the bed and still want to keep some decent space. Whether I go with a high rise or standard height cap, I want to add a roof rack too. The goal is to have rack space across the whole top, from the cab to the camper cap, like the Sherpa Crows Nest setup. I’m wondering if anyone has used a taller rack on the cab and something lower like Yakima bars on the cap. Does anyone have pictures or ideas for setups like that? A photo of a high rise cap with just a cab roof rack would help too. Thanks!
Nobody’s posted anything yet, but your setup idea sounds solid. Hopefully someone with a similar build shares some photos or advice soon.
