Anyone else had shuddering around 25 to 40 mph on a 2006?

Hi everyone… my 2006 has started to shake a bit at lower speeds, around 25 to 40 mph and about 1700 rpm. Someone mentioned trying Shudder Fix which sounds easy enough, but I’ve also heard it could be the driveshaft or the slip joint. Could this be the torque converter or something else? How do I figure that out?

I’d let someone else take a look before putting anything into the transmission. Stuff like Shudder Fix might work sometimes but feels more like a last option than a real solution.

Honestly, just take it to a trusted mechanic. Trying to guess and replacing things blindly will cost way more in the end.

Mine did the same thing. I fixed it by changing the carrier bearing and U-joint on my 2009. Later on, Toyota even sent out a bulletin for a free fix on that issue.

For me, it turned out the transmission fluid was low. Once I topped it up, the shuddering stopped.
