My fog lights on my 22 SR5 light up the trees way above the ground. Is that how they’re supposed to be? I always thought fog lights were meant to shine lower, closer to the road.
Could they be upside down, or am I just way off on how they work?

Maybe they were set up for cats instead of dogs. Try turning the truck off and back on, see if that does anything.
@Peyton
That doesn’t look like a dog to me.
There’s an adjustment screw to aim them, but it’s a pain to reach. The stock fog lights aren’t great anyway.
I swapped mine for Morimoto XBs, and they work way better. They have a nice projector style. Diode Dynamics is another good option too.
@Vail
Oh great, another person blinding everyone with their super bright fog lights. Might as well throw a light bar on top while you’re at it and go full Jeep mode.

Morimoto XBs and DD SS3s are actually SAE J583 compliant, so I don’t know what you’re complaining about.
Did you check if the lights are on a leash?
Did you make sure they were aimed correctly when they were installed?

I didn’t install them, but I’ll check out the adjustment screw.
That’s what I get for typing on my phone with sausage fingers.
LOL
Thanks for the laughs.

I love how you typed it wrong twice but got it right once in the middle. That’s some real commitment!
After that first reply, I seriously thought I had some special dog lights under my fog lights. I was like… what? I’ve had my Tacoma for seven years and four dogs, and I never knew these were a thing?!
