How many of you drive around with ECT PWR on all the time?

I usually drive with ECT PWR mode on when I need that extra punch for merging onto freeways or getting ahead in traffic. It gives a noticeable boost in acceleration, which is handy in certain situations. However, I switch it off for regular city driving to save on fuel. It’s all about balancing performance with efficiency based on how and where I’m driving each day.

I start the truck, buckle up, press the ECT button, and drive. The transmission responds much better this way.

I did not realize how much I needed this information. Today, it made a big difference in my life. I’m going to start using that button I always forget about.
