Getting ready for Saturday, best way to mount this reservoir?

I’m setting up my suspension kit and wondering which way to mount this reservoir. I’ve got the 11-circlip version. Any tips?

You can get frame mounts for those reservoirs. But just my two cents…skip the blocks. You’re missing out on the 5160’s full potential. Add-a-leaf (AAL) is super easy to install and makes a difference.

Didn’t realize the mounts were included. Might return the ones in my pic then.

AAL is definitely the way to go, especially with the 5160s. Honestly, it’s worth it even for 5100s.

And maybe Sunday…possibly Monday too

I’d mount them like the one on the left. It might not make a huge difference, but a straighter line could reduce the chances of it snagging on something. Mine are mounted to the frame.

I know it’s an unpopular opinion around here, but you’ll be just fine with the blocks as long as they’re under 1”. I’ve had several lifted Tacomas with different setups, and I actually prefer the ride with a 1” block and stock springs. A lot of trucks come with factory blocks anyway.

Just wondering…why’d you choose blocks in the rear instead of a lift spring?

Mainly cost and thinking it might be easier to install.

Same setup here with Fox 2.0! (https://imgur.com/8sA3orU)
