Help with choosing shocks for my 2019 Toyota Tacoma!

Hi everyone, I have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma 4x2 2.7l SR and am planning to replace the shocks soon. I’m looking at the Bilstein 4600s or the 5100s but am open to other options as well. I won’t be using it for off-roading and I’m not planning to lift or level it. I’m looking for something that’s durable and will make my on-road driving smoother, more comfortable, and improve handling, body roll, and bounce. Any suggestions?

Also, should I replace the front coil springs or keep the old ones? If changing the springs would improve the ride quality, I’m willing to do it, but I don’t want to go for anything cheap. If new springs are needed, where should I get them? It’s hard to find quality stock-height springs.

Thanks a lot for your help.

You’ll like the Bilsteins. The digressive design is great for reducing body roll and squat. Just know that they can be a bit stiff on smaller bumps, so the ride may be firmer.
Either would work well, but if you’re going through the trouble, go with the 5100s. They’re a bit more heavy-duty and will last longer.

Go with the 5100s for sure
