Hey all, I’m finally about to get my first Tacoma after wanting one for years! I’m looking at the 2019-2022 TRD Off-Road models. Does anyone know a good way to tell if a Tacoma has LED headlights from the photos online? It’s hard to figure it out just from the pics, and the listings don’t always show all the options. Appreciate any help

If you can find some photos of the truck within that year range, the LED headlights won’t have that clear, circular projector you usually see. The housing looks similar, but the projector circle is the giveaway.

On the LED models, the DRLs also double as turn signals, and they look amazing.
For the 2020 and newer models, the LEDs have this C-shaped DRL that’s easy to spot.

Just a heads-up, the factory didn’t offer LEDs on Tacomas until 2020, so if you’re looking at 2019 models, they won’t have them.
