Is the 2012-2015 2.5 Gen the best Tacoma ever made?

I’ve had a few different Tacomas, but I gotta say, my 2012-2015 2.5 Gen is still my favorite. Just feels like the perfect balance of old-school toughness and modern features. Anyone else agree?

They added a facelift, backup camera, updated head unit, and steering wheel with Bluetooth and touchscreen. Same engine and basic design, just a few updates to keep it current.

Yep, swapped the front end and the steering wheel too.

Nice! Did you go with the 2012-2013 or the 2014-2015 wheel? And were the buttons easy to set up?

Got the 2014-2015 wheel with an Android head unit for the extra buttons. Had to swap the clockspring, but it was worth it. If you go with the 2012-2013 wheel, it’s plug and play without extra buttons.

Got them off eBay; they’re the SPEC D ones. Install was mostly easy, just a few tricky bolts in the back. Here’s the link: Pardon Our Interruption...
