Is the 2025 Tacoma Redline different? And where do I find my psi numbers?

Is the 2025 Tacoma Redline Lower? And Where Are My PSI Numbers?

I was watching some Tacoma videos on YouTube and noticed that most trucks seem to have a redline around 6,200 RPM, but mine tops out at 5,400 RPM.

Is this due to the difference between the Iforce and Iforce Max, or is it part of a break-in process?

Also, my boost gauge doesn’t show any numbers, and it’s really frustrating!

Which trim do you have?

TRD Sport 4x4 6MT. Iforce, not Iforce Max.

I haven’t seen anyone mention an RPM difference in any of the showcase videos :sneezing_face:

The manual has lower power because of the lower redline.

@Hadi
I thought it was just losing some power because there’s no torque converter in the manual.

Didn’t expect it to also have a lower RPM range instead of just a weaker tune.

Yeah, they dialed back the manual version a little.

@Lennon
Guess so. I didn’t realize they cut down the RPMs too.

Anyway, thanks for the info. People in this forum can be pretty brutal lol.
I’ve been around sports cars for a while, and truck forums just feel way more intense.

@Keir
Lol, yeah, some of the third-gen owners seem kinda salty. Enjoy your truck though!

Yeah, I didn’t want a third-gen. I’ve had turbo cars for a while (Si and Type R), and I can’t go back to naturally aspirated.

I won’t be towing much, maybe just taking it out camping and fishing. Seemed like a solid choice for a first truck.

Also, I just love 4-cylinder turbos.

You can change the gauge cluster using the pad/arrows on the left side of the steering wheel.

It’s actually pretty nice. You can also customize what info shows up in the three display windows.

Really glad I got a '23 Pro instead.

Not sure why you can’t just let people enjoy what they like.
