I’m looking for a toolbox that will fit my 2002 Tacoma with a 5ft bed without sitting on top of the wheel wells. I don’t know where to start, and I could really use some advice. The bed width is 57 inches, so I figure I need something around 60-61 inches in width but no more than 40 inches at the base so it fits between the wheel wells. Anyone using something similar? Would appreciate any recommendations!
When I had my first-gen Tacoma, I used a low-profile toolbox. I think it was a Kobalt. Here’s a picture of it.
