Recommendations on Tacoma Access Cab

Hey Pals,

I’ve been eyeing a Tacoma Access Cab for my next vehicle purchase, but I could use some advice before making a decision. I’m particularly interested in its performance, reliability, and any practical considerations, especially for everyday use and occasional off-road adventures.

If you own or have experience with a Tacoma Access Cab, could you please share your thoughts? How does it handle in different conditions? Any maintenance issues to watch out for? And is the interior space adequate for daily use?

Looking forward to hearing your insights…

Thanks……

Pros: -6-foot bed without a greater wheelbase. -Suicide style rear doors with no B pillars allow you to enter the rear seat without having to go around the open door. -A smaller cab room to keep cool during warmer months. -Looks more like a real truck with better dimensions. (Opinion) -Lower MSRP when purchasing new.

Cons: -The back seat is too small for an adult to sit for extended periods of time. Road trip? There are only two persons. -The rear windows do not roll down. -Limited internal space for carrying items in the cab.

I truly adore my Access Cab. It’s ideal for my wife and myself, who don’t have any children and own a 30-pound adventurous dog.

HI triza, hear this, the Tacoma Access Cab is a versatile truck that meets a wide range of needs. If you’re seeking a capable and comfortable vehicle, the Tacoma Access Cab is a solid option to explore.

In my opinion, it’s an excellent small truck for you and a pet or companion. If you have or plan to have children, I recommend a 4Runner or a Tundra. I believe the double-cab Tacoma is a joke, and I would never buy one.
