I got the same steps when I bought my truck. I kind of wish I had gone with sliders instead, but I still like the look so I’ve kept them
I plan to get sliders once I can afford them—they’re just really pricey. I’ve thought about taking the steps off since I nearly got one caught last time I went out
I keep them on for my wife to climb in, but honestly, it looks cleaner without them
Why not both… leave them on until a trail takes care of it for you
Just got off a rock trail and yeah, the steps get in the way. But maybe they stop you from smashing into something worse like the transmission pan
Depends on whether you use them. Mine came with the truck and my wife uses them. I’ve only got a 1.5” lift and haven’t scraped them yet on the forest roads I go on
Cut the steps off and pretend you’ve got sliders
I was going to delete this but I’ll just say… they’re more useful than they look when you’re parked on an angle
