TRD-Sport vs SR5

:red_car: Looking to buy either a ‘23 TRD Sport or the ‘23 SR5. I’m interested in the double cab with 4x4 on both. Key note: I’ll probably never take the truck off-road. Off-roading for me is just a dirt road leading to our hunting cabin, so off-road capabilities aren’t a big deal. :evergreen_tree:

My main issue is that I’m not seeing a huge difference between the two, yet the price difference on the website is under $1k. :thinking: So, why not just get the TRD Sport? Can you guys help me understand the main differences other than cosmetics? For those who have had both, what’s your take? :blue_car::sparkles:

I just went through the identical thought process. I chose the SR5 because I liked the silver truck and had no opinion on the hood scoop. The sport has a stronger suspension and a few extra gadgets, but these two trims are identical in the important areas.

hi buddy in terms of priority, the TRD Off-Road (TRD OR) trim is more suitable than either the SR5 or TRD Sport trims for the Tacoma.
