I asked chat to generate a wiring harness diagram for the LED bar I’m working on. The result… well, you tell me.
What kind of mess is this?

Reminds me of those old DK books I used to see in the library as a kid.

Oh yeah! Those cross-section books!
Now ask it how to get in if the doors are wired shut.

Might end up like the Back to the Future DeLorean!
Garbage in, garbage out. This looks like a complete mess.

Gotta defend the original poster here. I tried something similar yesterday and got almost the same nonsense. I gave really detailed instructions for a simple design, and it still turned out a mess with random unfinished words and impossible layouts. The instructions it gave me sounded smart but weren’t useful at all.
I swear, if I gave the same request to a high school woodshop student, they’d do a way better job.
Short version: Chat isn’t great at design.
I’ll take the 90s Hella instructions that were crumpled and stuck in the 500ff light box every day.
Also a 2 second google search comes back with a ton of more usable 12v light harness diagrams.
@San
Yeah, I use it for coding sometimes, and it’s decent for small tasks.

That’s actually amazing!
Ah yes… the classic Proper Dad Light. Never fails.
Ah yes, the Scion Tacoma.

I didn’t even notice the Scion logo.
The only thing missing is the fire extinguisher you’re gonna need on day one.
Well? Better get to work.
I felt my brain break trying to understand that diagram.
AI-generated nonsense. This happens a lot.
