Views on the 2010 V6 PreRunner?

:red_car: I’ve spent the last four to five years considering purchasing a Tacoma. After a lot of research, I finally decided on a 2010 PreRunner in Silver Streak Mica with 112,000 miles. Although the front end has been involved in two small accidents, it appears to have received good maintenance overall. Probably going to bite the bullet and get it later today.

:wrench: From what I’ve heard, 2010 is a fairly decent year for this make and model. Since 2015, I’ve been driving a 2010 Civic Coupe, so even though I’m not upgrading, this feels like a significant improvement.

:hammer_and_wrench: I would be interested in knowing from other owners how dependable this specific car has been for them throughout the ownership process.

My 2009 Tacoma V6 TRD Sport has accumulated $225,000 miles. It’s been an excellent car. Since I paid $65,000 for it when I got it, I have maintained it. I would advise you to monitor all minor maintenance issues and to keep the fluids updated. If the frame is in good condition, you should treat it over the winter and make sure you remove all of the salt from it. Make sure to treat any rust, even if it’s just surface-level. Your truck will be a great asset.
