What are Really the key features of 4WP sliders for a Toyota Tacoma?

I’ve been checking out these 4WP sliders on sale for $208.25. They’re one of the few sliders I could grab without worrying about shipping since I live close to a store. The price is insane, it’s cheaper than most running boards! Any thoughts on whether they’re worth it?

You know what they say, buy once, cry once. These sliders might seem cheap, but they do the job. I’ve had mine on my ‘13 for a while and have hit pretty much every rock in SoCal without a scratch on my truck. The key is that you don’t want a powder coat, just get the bare metal and spray it with bed liner. If you’re off-roading, this upgrade is crucial. Trust me, fixing a door sill is way harder than replacing bumpers.

Sounds a lot like the CaliRaised LED ones I’ve seen :heart_on_fire::call_me_hand:t2:

I was wondering the same thing about why 4WP says these sliders won’t fit a short bed ‘23 TRD OR. The description mentions short beds from ‘16-‘23, but when I entered my vehicle, it said no fit. Makes no sense unless their system is glitching.

Update: I couldn’t pass up that deal, so I ordered them anyway. I’m guessing their database is off because the reviews seem solid. Fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:

I’m pretty sure it’s just a database issue. A lot of places didn’t have the ‘23 model listed in their systems for a while. The description does mention the ‘23, and I saw a reply from 4WP saying it’s compatible.

Did you end up buying them? I was thinking of ordering a set today and wanted to check if it was just a mistake.

Yeah, I got them pretty fast, actually. Haven’t had a chance to install them yet, though the weather’s been pretty bad this past month :cloud_with_rain:

Just to clarify, the price is $208.25 per slider, so that’s $416.50 for the set.

Nope, it’s $208.25 for the pair. I just placed my order

Check the cart, it says “each” next to the price. I could be wrong, but you might need to buy another one.

In the Q&A section, 4WP confirmed it’s for both the driver and passenger side.

Nice! That’s a solid deal then. Thanks for clearing that up!
