What are some great mods for my first Tacoma?

I’m getting my first Tacoma and was wondering what some great mods are. What do you all recommend?

Congrats on the new Tacoma. One simple but useful mod is a gas cap holder. I got one on Amazon for about $10 to $15, and it’s nice not having the cap hanging while I fill up. It’s a small annoyance solved

Great choice with the Tacoma! Before asking around, take a few minutes to search the forum. There’s tons of helpful info here, and you can find some great mods. The community here is awesome and will definitely help you out.

I just installed bed lights on my 2020 TRD Sport, and they were only $35 on Amazon. The wiring was already there, so I just had to remove the tail lights and plug them in. Makes a huge difference in visibility at night!

Those bed lights are a solid choice, and adding sequential mirror turn signals can really boost visibility too.

I’ll have to check if I can do that on my SR5 as well

Yeah, it should fit the SR5. Mine did, so you might be in luck

For sure, it fits the SR5. I just did mine two days ago.

The best mod I’ve done is the KDMax Pro 9.0 tune. It makes the truck so much more fun to drive. You can find a tuner near you through their website.

Seat Jackers are a great addition too. They really improve the seating position. Just get the front ones and the rears for the best comfort.

I’m planning to pay off my Tacoma first, then I want to get some mods. I’m thinking about a Flowmaster dual exhaust system and some Katzkin leather seats with heating and cooling.
