What are typical leasing payments for a Toyota Tacoma? What’s your monthly payment for your truck? I’m considering leasing a Taco and would love to see what others are paying

I get that you might not be looking for financial advice but I really think leasing is not a great idea

And financing is usually a bad choice for about 95% of people too. It’s a big part of why cars are so pricey nowadays and then folks are confused why they’re stuck with long agreements :clown_face:

I totally agree with that. I’m leasing a Tesla right now and wish I had more knowledge about it

Doesn’t that go against your contract? Seems odd they can change the system mid-lease and not let you buy it out after you signed

So they only allowed buyouts in certain states at the time? Where do you live?

Yeah, I live in one of those allowed states. But in early 2022, Tesla changed it so Model 3 and Y leases can’t have buyouts anymore

That’s interesting. I had no idea they operated like that. Have you noticed any long-term issues with your Tesla? The only time I drove one was back when I was a valet

The build quality could definitely improve, but driving it is amazing with that EV torque. I had to replace my battery because it stopped holding a charge, but that was covered under warranty. I haven’t heard of many long-term issues from others, though. The Model 3 hasn’t even been around for 10 years, but lots of people have easily hit 200,000 miles

Honestly, don’t lease vehicles. Just my opinion, but it’s a financial fact. Unless you’re wealthy and money is no concern, then leasing a Tacoma wouldn’t make sense either
