What are your recommendations for mud flaps for a Toyota Tacoma?

What mud flaps would you recommend for a Toyota Tacoma? I’m looking for options that are wider than the stock ones since my tires extend beyond the stock flaps and they don’t offer much protection. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

RekGen Slider guards let you adjust the extension of the mud flaps. They also offer a variety of other options.

That looks like a great product. Did you choose them to accommodate larger tires?

I switched mine out for Rokblokz and couldn’t be happier. They’re flexible enough for off-roading, don’t rub, and do a great job of preventing rocks from flying off the tires.

I’ve got Gatorback mud flaps on my Ram, and they work really well, plus they come with a warranty. I’m not sure if they offer an option for the Tacoma, though.

Remove them brother, yeah I think that

The goal is to prevent stuff from spraying up onto the side of the vehicle, not to make the problem worse.

So besides the fact they look stupid and are only there as a requirement to be courteous to other drivers, you’ll snap one off when you go off roading.

It’s a truck. Trucks are meant to get dirty. And I have had mine off since I bought it and whatever tiny bit gets splashed on to the side of my truck, is gone after a wash.
