What’s up with the worn-out leather seats on a 2022 Tacoma I just got This truck has less than 4000 miles, but the small squares on the front driver seat are already starting to wear out. Anyone else dealing with this?
They replaced mine under warranty. You should probably ask about that.
They told me my butt was too big to cover it under warranty
I’ve got 20k miles on my ‘21 and all those squares are pretty much worn smooth. $5k for the premium package and we get stuck with this cheap material.
Cheap material I see what you did there.
Man, that’s exactly what I was worried about. You spend all that extra cash, and this happens. Did you check if the warranty covers it
My passenger seat is starting to show the same issue. I just noticed it last week, and mine’s a '21.
It’s pretty ridiculous, especially for a truck that’s still so new.
Do you swivel when you get out I noticed my wife does that, and she’s the only one who uses the passenger seat. I think that’s why it’s showing more wear than my side. I don’t swivel when I get out.
Even with that, it’s still surprising that it’s happening so soon. I have a ‘21 too, though mine’s cloth, and the seats still look brand new despite my lady and grandparents using it all the time. Different materials wear differently, I guess.
Are you talking about how most people get out
I mean, maybe I’m just different. I’m always really careful getting out of my trucks.
