My car doesn’t have a port behind the rearview mirror. What are my options for a good dash cam?
A119 v3
I recently got an A119 Mini 2 for my Miata… it’s even better, but both are great.
60 fps makes a big difference.

That classic ‘my other car is a Miata’ bumper sticker! My niece is looking for one… seems like they’re pretty popular again.
Garmin Mini 3 with the ten-pin adapter that plugs right into my 4th gen’s front camera harness. The only tricky part is adjusting the lens angle during setup. After that, I just pull the SD card to check my recordings. Plus, it’s super small!
I got the Toyota one. Wish it had a rear-facing camera too. Anyone know a good option for that?
Garmin x310 in my Tacoma and 67w in my Mazda 3. Both are solid, and the Dongar Pro setup works well in the Tacoma.

You can’t power a rear cam off the Dongar though, right?
Viofo A229 Plus… got both front and rear 2K cameras.
BlackVue here.
Had a FitcamX, now using a Wolfbox.
If you have a 4th Gen, Dongar makes a 5-pin adapter that connects to the dome light. As for the dash cam itself, there are plenty of options. They even sell a package with the Garmin Mini 3, which I’ve been using and really like.
