What happened to the Lunar Rock color for the Toyota Tacoma Did Toyota stop making it I went to my local dealership to ask about any Lunar Rock TRD Off-Roads coming in, and the salesperson said Toyota isn’t making them anymore Is that true.

I don’t think so The new body style will probably bring in new colors, and Lunar Rock has been around for about 3 years now

Oh, got it Lunar Rock was on a 3-month on, 3-month off production cycle, if I remember correctly Since we’re nearing the end of the year, it’s possible we’re in the last batch of Lunar Rock right now, but I’m just guessing
That actually makes sense Have you heard of any issues with the quality of the Lunar Rock paint
The paint is a bit thin I’d definitely suggest getting paint protection film (ppf) for the areas that are more exposed
Toyota’s process is better with metallic paints, just FYI

I have the Army Green, which was on the same production cycle as Lunar Rock, and I haven’t had any problems I haven’t heard much about Lunar Rock issues either, but I haven’t been on the forums recently To my knowledge, the only real problem color for Toyota is white, where the paint tends to flake because of a thin coat
