Don’t forget to retorque your lugs after driving a few hundred miles with spacers on.

I’d say adding that 4th wheel really made a huge difference

It does improve the driving a bit.

Ouch, did you snap the ball joint?

The lugs on the spacer sheared because I didn’t check them after driving a few hundred miles like you’re supposed to after installing them.

If the 2nd pic shows the transformation, then yes :raised_hands:

Yep, that’s the one, haha.

What brand spacers did you use, and did you go with red loctite?

I used KSP spacers, no loctite. I’m still using the KSPs. It wasn’t the spacers that failed, it was my fault.

Respect for owning up to it.

Yeah, you’re supposed to check your lugs after 400-500 miles of driving with spacers. I didn’t do that. I’ve used spacers on many things for years without an issue, so I guess this was just a rare mistake.

Once I get bigger tires, I’ll go with wheels that have a crazy offset. I mainly want to clear suspension at full lock. I know smaller tires would look odd, so I’m going for 35" tires.

My wheels have a -12 offset, and they cleared fine with my 33s. I just wanted a bit more poke. I’m on 35s now, but I’m not sure they’d fit with just the -12 offset—they’re about 13.7" wide, so the spacers help with that.
