Why are my Day Time Running Lights not working?

I have a 2022 TRD Off Road, and my day time running lights won’t turn on. The fuse is fine and the bulbs light up, but they don’t switch to daytime running mode. Any ideas on what might be wrong?

You can turn the daytime running lights on or off in the menu on the radio.

Yes, I tried that, but it still doesn’t work. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Check again in daylight. It might be too dark to notice, and also, make sure the switch is on auto (on the left stick).

@Zeek
I think it might be a problem with the wiring harness. I tested it in auto mode during the day, but it still doesn’t work.

Is it manual or automatic? And do you have the e-brake engaged?

@Zeek
It’s automatic, and no, the e-brake isn’t engaged.

I’m hearing about this issue for the first time here. Have you tried checking out tacomaworld.com? They have a lot of info. Are the headlights stock? Maybe you should test the switch. If it were mine, I’d let the dealership handle it.

@Bailey
Yes, they’re stock headlights. I’m planning to take it in to the dealership.
