Why do Toyota Tacoma owners enjoy displaying truck flags?

Why do Tacoma owners love displaying truck flags so much? I’ve seen a lot of posts about it, so I figured I’d share mine. Just got a Cali raised flag holder to get ready for the 4th. :us:

Meh, those flag setups always seem like they’re meant for bigger trucks… the ones with small truck energy, if you know what I mean

Yeah, the bigger the flag, the smaller the… you get the point :joy:

Recently saw some massive pride flags on trucks. Honestly, I think you should fly any flag you want, whether it’s the American flag or pride flags :rainbow_flag:

That’s why I stick with my mid-size truck… gotta balance out my ahem larger attributes :smirk:

Yesssirrrr! :joy:

Flags on trucks just give me serious cringe vibes :grimacing:

Especially on Japanese trucks… People get so “patriotic” yet buy foreign-made vehicles? If you’re really into patriotism, why not support American businesses instead of hanging a flag made in China on a truck made in Japan? :man_shrugging:

I like American-made stuff too, but let’s be real, American trucks are just unreliable now. They’re clearly built for profit, not quality. Until that changes, I’m sticking with my Japanese ride.

Toyota does have factories in the U.S. now, though. Mine was made in Texas! :us:

Yeah, but they stopped doing that for the 3rd-gen in 2021. Now they’re made in Mexico.

First-gen Tacomas were all made in California at the NUUMI plant, just FYI.
