Will 285/70/17 tires fit on a stock 2023 Toyota Tacoma?
Can anyone confirm if 285/70/17 tires will fit on a stock 2023 Tacoma without a lift and whether they will cause any rubbing?

It will rub, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
Our pinch weld is located right behind that soft plastic; it’s sharp and could eventually cut through, leading to your tire being sliced.
If that’s a Pro model, it won’t fit 285s. I can confirm that. You’ll need spacers or new wheels because the new upper control arms added in 2022 are too bulky and will interfere with the wider tires.
I mention this because you specified the 2023 model, and those are Pro wheels.
I’m not sure about other models, and it’s pretty chaotic if you check the forums…
Those wheels aren’t from the Pro Tacoma; they’re from the Pro 4Runner.
My mistake. I should have noticed the 17” instead of 16”. I’m not sure if that provides enough offset, but a good way to test it is to go for it and see what happens.
You need to lift a Tacoma to accommodate 285-sized tires.
