Guys, I’ve been really into the idea of snagging a 1st gen Tacoma for my daily ride. I mean, I love them, but I’m wondering about the practicality. What’s the upkeep like on these older models? Would it make more sense financially to go for a pricier, newer vehicle instead? Just trying to weigh my options here.

My every day is a 2004 1st generation 2.4l single cab 2wd. adore it fantastic on petrol. Liquid brakes and easy to use. adequate passing power, though not quite perfect.
