I have owned and loved multiple Toyota trucks. I was shocked to see that used Toyotas ranged in price from about $20,000 to over $40,000. I discovered a used Tacoma at a dealer, but after making a down payment, I read conflicting opinions about the 2018 model’s brakes and fuel pump; some reviewers seemed to think it was a lemon. Anyone among you who own that year, any thoughts? Here are good and awful views. The truck’s gasoline pump was previously changed at the dealer, according to the Carfax. https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/toyota/tacoma/2018
Check the VIN to check if the recalls were completed. Check the maintenance history and everything that. Otherwise, everything is alright… probably. The brakes are superior for off-road or professional use.
I’m at 80k with my TRD Pro and no problems. There are no faulty brakes or leaking back lights. I have not experienced any problems with my fuel pump either. So don’t know.
