Comments about the 2018 Tacoma model year

I have owned and loved multiple Toyota trucks. I was shocked to see that used Toyotas ranged in price from about $20,000 to over $40,000. I discovered a used Tacoma at a dealer, but after making a down payment, I read conflicting opinions about the 2018 model’s brakes and fuel pump; some reviewers seemed to think it was a lemon. Anyone among you who own that year, any thoughts? Here are good and awful views. The truck’s gasoline pump was previously changed at the dealer, according to the Carfax.

I’m driving a 2018 TRD OR, and it’s been operating good since I got it. Currently at 75k miles with no troubles.

Check the VIN to check if the recalls were completed. Check the maintenance history and everything that. Otherwise, everything is alright… probably. The brakes are superior for off-road or professional use.

I’m at 80k with my TRD Pro and no problems. There are no faulty brakes or leaking back lights. I have not experienced any problems with my fuel pump either. So don’t know.
