How can you restore headlights with baking soda and vinegar on a Toyota Tacoma? I saw someone mention it, and now I’m curious how well it works .

Honestly, your best bet is just to replace the headlight housing. I’ve tried a ton of methods when I was running a detail shop, and none of them last more than 6 months. After that, they turn yellow again.

Yeah, I used to do wet sanding, polishing, and even tried some chemical treatments and clear coats. None of them are permanent fixes. Most used car dealerships just do this as a temporary fix instead of getting new headlights.

Anything that removes the UV coating is going to make the headlights fade even faster afterward.
