Is it normal for my truck to shift like this?

It’s normal. Here’s a video that explains it: https://youtu.be/qbCAEscrJ8E?si=y1uhz8u6z4C2XYxI

I went from a 2010 to a 2020. The 3rd gen definitely feels jerkier compared to the 2nd gen.

Glad to know it’s not just me. I was starting to wonder if there was an issue.

Haha, yeah, I can see how that doesn’t help much.

I’ll give that a try!

Try Sport mode or ECT.

Yeah, I’ve heard about that. Seems like a good option, but the tune is definitely cheaper!

I rarely used 6th gear before re-gearing. Now it drives so much better. I have a 2017 TRDOR with 265/75/16 KO2s and a 3” lift.

Switching to 4.88 gears made a huge difference for me.

Mine does that too, especially at low speeds. It can be rough sometimes.
