Locking gas cap?

Hi guys,

I understand that newer cars are designed to prevent gas siphoning, but given the decline in common sense these days, I’m concerned about potential thieves targeting my truck. Despite its large fuel tank and lack of a locking gas door, I’d like to deter any would-be thieves with a locked gas cap, so they move on to an easier target. I’d rather avoid the hassle and damage of someone trying to force a hose into my fuel tank. Can anyone recommend a locking gas cap for a 3rd-generation model?

A locking gas cap is a smart move for added security. For a 3rd-generation truck, brands like Stant and Genuine Chrysler often have reliable locking gas caps. Just make sure to get the right fit for your model.
